Ashley F. Galmish Joins Our Legal Team

We are pleased to announce that one of our very own, Ashley F. Galmish, has become admitted to practice law in the State of Tennessee. On November 5, 2013, I had the honor of presenting Ashley to the Justices of the Tennessee Supreme Court. In front of a packed house, including family and friends, our Supreme Court Justices swore in Ashley as the newest member of the Tennessee Bar.

Ashley represents all of the best qualities our firm embodies. She is hard working, intelligent and passionate about her work. This can be seen in the path she took to becoming our newest attorney. Originally from Memphis, Ashley attended Rhodes College, where she graduated in 2008. An outstanding student-athlete, she both graduated with Honors and excelled on the basketball court, setting many scoring records that still stand.

Upon graduating, Ashley turned down the opportunity to play professional basketball overseas and decided to go to law school. She moved to Nashville, and enrolled in the Nashville School of Law. To finance her education, she joined our firm as a receptionist. She quickly rose to the position of my legal assistant, a position she held until her graduation in 2013.

In light of the skills she displayed as my legal assistant, the decision to hire her was one of the easiest ones I have made. She consistently demonstrated the talent and skill to convince everyone who worked with her that she will be a rising star. This is especially impressive because, in 25 years of practicing law, I have never seen a person rise from receptionist to law school graduate, all the while financing their own education.

For the above reasons, the partners at Raybin and Weissman are honored that Ashley has decided to join us to practice law. She plans to focus her practice on personal injury plaintiff’s law and domestic law.

Please join us in welcoming Ashley as our newest attorney at Raybin and Weissman!
